The Ned Wedding Showcase 2020

We love a wedding at The Ned, so having the chance to meet prospective Brides whilst crafting flower crowns at their Wedding Showcase proved a rather dreamy way to spend a day. We had been there en masse at dawn, installing a high reaching floral arch. Built with a combination of ethereal clouds of gypsophila, playa blanca roses, hydrangea and branches of blooming magnolia; it framed the stage in the already beautiful Salon Room perfectly. We hope we have the opportunity to recreate it for a couple soon!

A Cornish Wedding

Luciana and Tim chose the breathtaking Bocconoc Estate in Cornwall for their summer nuptials. In the height of the heatwave, the estate was in its full glory with its rolling hills, surrounding forest and impressive stately home. The brief was romantic and elegant with a tonal palette of blush, berry, whites and greens. We used blousy garden roses and peonies, showstopper Cafe Au Lait dahlias and champagne lisianthus all set off with pops of plum-coloured seasonal flowers and foliage for a floral arch and walkway of meadow flowers for the church reception. Come evening, a dramatic floral display welcomed guests to the reception where we used over 100 crystal cut vases of flowers to the fabulous feasting table!

An Aynhoe Park Wedding

Returning to spectacular country manor Aynhoe Park to do the flowers for Rebecca and Craig’s stylish and creative wedding this August was an absolute treat. The floral showstopper was our three-metre-high archway packed full of hydrangea, roses and delphiniums for Rebecca’s grand entrance into the ceremony in the Orangery. Tables were dressed with roses set out in clusters of crystal cut vases with copper tea lights and flowing foliage. Rebecca looked breathtakingly beautiful in her Berta dress and we complimented her look with a bouquet packed full of scented garden roses and peony roses.
